On Friday, June 20, 2025, a presentation of the TITAN device, designed for rapid sandbag filling, was held at the premises of the Parabel company in Lukov. Parabel is the supplier of this equipment for the company Saquick. The event was attended by representatives of the town of Lukov, fire brigades from Zlín and Olomouc, employees of Parabel, and representatives from Saquick.
The program took place in the morning hours. Following the official opening, a live demonstration allowed attendees to witness the capabilities of the TITAN device firsthand. The demonstration drew well-deserved attention, and interested visitors had the opportunity to try out the entire process themselves.
TITAN was developed to enable quick and efficient sandbag filling in emergency situations such as floods. It can handle both dry and wet sand, significantly increasing its versatility in the field. In Lukov, the TITAN 2400 model was presented, although a smaller variant, the TITAN 1200, is also available. Both machines are CE-certified and were designed with a focus on safety, ease of use, and high work efficiency.
During the discussion following the demonstration, participants agreed that TITAN represents a major step forward in the field of emergency preparedness and disaster response. The device enables the preparation of hundreds of sandbags in a short time, which can be used to protect people and property during natural disasters.
The TITAN device is the result of long-term collaboration between engineering experts and emergency response professionals. Its deployment in practice can significantly shorten response times when municipalities are threatened by floods or other natural events.
The presentation confirmed that modern technology has a firm place in the field of crisis management.
